In Noah's day there was great wickedness in the land, so much so that
it repented the Lord that He had made man. He was grieved in His heart at
what He must now do.
Like those who perished in the flood of Noah's Day, we too have sinned
against God. Yet unlike they, we continue to have opportunities to
express our gratitude that He hasn't dealt with us thusly, but restored us unto
His bosom, in Christ Jesus. We can thank Him that He has given us newness
of mind and soul. As He once bestowed grace upon Noah and his family, He
has likewise looked upon us.
As Noah once walked with Him, we too are privileged to step there
joyfully in Christ. As Noah was sealed into an ark of gopher wood for the
journey's protection and safety, likewise, we too have been sealed in the ark of
the Holy Spirit, our haven of rest. God has beckoned unto us and we have
heard His call to enter into the Ark. Now, by faith, we wait for Him to send
in to us all those specimens of life that He would have us nurture throughout
our journey home.
For each new morning
With its radiant light
We give Thee thanks
For this is right!
Each day is precious
As we walk in Thee
Each moment is golden
In splendor and victory!
